Why Cantalobos

A private hill, not a conference hotel

Cantalobos is a private estate, not a hotel: five homes on a hillside above Almuñécar, set up for groups who want to stay and work together. Everyone sleeps, works and eats on the same hill, looked after by the Lindau Modell family, who found it in 2012 and have built it up since.

The part people remember

Built into the programme, not bolted on. Each one works as a break, a team exercise or an evening.

  • A seafood paella with prawns, mussels and lemon.

    Gastronomy

Cook paella with the Cantalobos chef, or gather around the wood-fired oven for pizza. Food is where a group relaxes.

  • A host from Calvente presents a bottle while a guest tastes red wine.

    Wine

A private tasting with the family behind the Calvente vineyard, around the table on the hill.

  • A guest in a yoga pose on the court, the mountains and a clear sky beyond.

    Wellness

Yoga, a swim at sunset or the Garden Gym, to reset between sessions.

  • The padel net, branded Cantalobos, mid-match.

    Activities

Padel, pool games, cocktail making, walking trails, and Río de Patos, a rubber-duck challenge for teams.
