Cantalobos is made for intimate weddings: up to 60 guests at dinner, and up to 42 of them staying on the hill. A private, family-owned estate above Almuñécar, with the Mediterranean on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other, where the celebration can begin with a welcome evening and end with a long brunch by the pool.

Five homes, one hill
Up to 42 overnight guests across five homes. Up to 42 guests stay on the estate across five homes, so the celebration does not end with a taxi queue. Many couples take a suite in El Palacio, or Villa Mango at the top of the hill, the most secluded of the five, and give the other homes to family and friends.

How many guests can you host?
Up to 60 at dinner in the Plaza, which opens in late 2026, and up to 42 staying overnight across the five homes. Smaller weddings celebrate on El Palacio's terraces or at El Cortijo's long table for 24.
Can we marry legally at Cantalobos?
Many couples from abroad make it official at home and hold a symbolic ceremony here, which can be as personal as you like. Tell us about your situation and we will tell you what is possible.
Do we have to book the whole estate?
Most couples take the whole hill so that every guest can stay on the estate. For a small wedding or an elopement, one or two homes can be enough. We suggest what fits.

How late can we celebrate?
We plan the evening with you: the music, where the party moves and when it ends. Most couples book the whole estate, which gives the most freedom, always with consideration for the neighbours.
Can we choose our own suppliers?
Yes. Your own caterer, florist, photographer or musicians are welcome when they are agreed with us in advance, including deliveries and set-up times.
When is the best time of year?
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, most of the year works. Tell us your preferred dates and we will check availability.
What does it cost?
Prices are on request. They depend on the date, the number of guests, the homes, the meals and the programme, and you receive a proposal after your enquiry.
How do our guests get there?
Málaga Airport is about an hour away by car, and Granada about the same. We can arrange transfers for your guests.
